Do you only have one seating at 6:15 pm?
Yes, we'll kick off the evening with an aperitivo and light bites as guests arrive beginning at 6:15 PM.
Do you have a bar?
Our sister restaurant, Southwark, has a bar if you’d like to arrive early – or stay late – to enjoy additional beverages. Dinner begins with an aperitivo and each course is served with a unique wine pairing, so plan accordingly.
What are your beverage options?
We offer a wine pairing to accompany your meal. Our selection spotlights producers of conscience and skill from all around the world. Expect iconic wines as well as those from young, boundary-breaking producers.
Do you serve non-alcoholic beverages?
Yes, non-alcoholic options and mocktails are available à la carte as we do not currently offer an NA pairing.
Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?
At this time, we are unable to accommodate certain food allergies or dietary preferences, specifically those that cover an entire food category such as gluten, dairy, vegetarian, and vegan.

Is there parking near the restaurant?
There is one paid lot at the corner of 3rd and Bainbridge. Street parking is also available, but evenings and weekends are typically busy in the area and spots can be difficult to come by.
What is your dress code?
Many of our guests join us for a special occasion and dress accordingly but come as you feel comfortable. We ask that hats be removed during service and that shorts and flip-flops stay home.
What is included in the price of the meal?
The price includes a multi-course tasting menu and wine pairing. It does not include any additional beverages or tax and gratuity.
How many courses does the tasting menu include?
Our culinary team will lead you through a Modern Italian tasting menu of 8-10 courses based upon tradition and personal connection, combined with innovative preparations highlighting our region’s finest products. The evening begins with shared light bites and an aperitivo, and ends with dessert and amaro. The experience lasts about three hours.
What if I am running late?
If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please let us know by calling our sister restaurant, Southwark, at 267-930-8538.
Do I need a reservation to dine at Ambra?
Yes, reservations are available online at Resy for groups of 2-4 for the Dining Room or Kitchen Counter. We do not accept walk-ins
Can I book the whole room?
Absolutely, we love a party! Any parties of 6-12 are considered private and you will have the dining room to yourselves for the evening.

Can I be put on a waitlist?
For dates that are fully booked, Resy has a “notify” option that will alert you of any cancellations that occur in the days leading up and allow you to book.
What if I’d like to come as a single diner?
We love solo diners! Due to the size of our space and the nature of our seatings, however, parties of one are not always possible. On occasion we are able to accommodate this request so, to inquire about a specific date, please email reservations@ambraphilly.com.
